Mathilde Barge serves in the Office of the President at the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, where she leads research, planning, and execution for cross-cutting initiatives at the intersection of AI, policy, and philanthropy. She previously worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), focusing on Chinese political economy, contributed to policy work at France’s Ministry of Interior, and led talent efforts at a London-based venture capital firm. With experience across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., she brings a global lens to innovation, strategy, and institutional engagement. Mathilde holds a BSc from the London School of Economics and an MA from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
